Basketball as a collective movement, and was deeply loved by people all over the world, has become the world’s one of the largest population of an individual sport, fun and playful, has a good fitness role, has a strong educational, therefore, the response to the call of the party and the state department of education in our country, the development of sports, improve the people’s physical fitness, establish the student lifelong sports idea, will basketball as an important part of the sports teaching of primary and secondary schools, and included in the sports teaching outline, and at the same time actively carry out the basketball competitions, both inside and outside school activities, establishing basketball league, at all levels for Chinese basketball reserve provides many excellent talents. Therefore, the study to understand the current situation of middle school basketball teaching and puts forward corresponding counter measures, is of great significance to the sustainable development of the high school basketball teaching.This article USES the literature material law, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method, expert interview method, the analysis methods of induction, for Harbin city high school, more than ten representative schools in investigation and study, aiming at the existing problem of research to find out, look for deep reasons, and, according to the results of the survey of Harbin city middle school basketball teaching put forward some countermeasures and Suggestions. Starring problems of Harbin city high school basketball teaching:1. Basketball teaching not well reflect the subjectivity of students, to students’ learning enthusiasm is not high, the basketball teaching evaluation is not high.2. The school basketball court venue can basically meet the needs of the basketball teaching, students but their spare time basic cannot satisfy the demand of the student activity venues and equipment, venues lack of standardized management system, efforts to open is not high, brought inconvenience to students after school life.3. In the process of middle school basketball teaching, no and combined closely with the "sports and health standards", the teaching content is difficult to meet the demand of student diversity, less class hour arrangement, teaching methods, teaching means and teaching organization forms, teaching evaluation is not comprehensive, not enough scientific evaluation method.4. Harbin city middle school basketball teaching model, class model is not combined with the actual situation of students in a certain adjustment.5. The teacher the in-depth understanding of the basketball teaching, hinder the development of basketball teaching materials. Aimed at the problems existing in the basketball teaching in Harbin, I through the investigation, visit and combining their basketballCoach’s experience that mainly made the idea of teacher’s teaching change, exert students’ subjective initiative, set to born as the main body of teaching environment, teachers to strengthen theoretical study at the same time, further deepening the understanding of basketball. School leaders and departments at all levels to strengthen support for teachers to create powerful environment.
