Most researchers conclude that the rate of population growth have increased rapidly which resulted in the increase of number of people living on earth since the beginning of the 19 century. The connection between education and population has attracted the mind of many scholars and policymakers, especially since the mid-1960 s. Numerous scholars noted the need to control population growth especially in developing countries in order to achieve high levels of the supply of social services with the basic interest of education. By improving the primary education system, that will results in equipping citizens with the best skills required in life as primary education is being considered as the basic foundation of education for any human especially Tanzanians as pre-primary education is not compulsory. The need for this research is to analyze the required section to improve primary education in Tanzania.Tanzania is a high fertility, rapid population growth country with a young age structure. Contraceptive use remains low, although the unmet need for family planning is high. Gender relationships are one of the determinants of large family size. The population will continue to grow rapidly despite the HIV and AIDS epidemic. More importantly, the course of fertility will be a key determinant of the future size of the population. Continued rapid growth of the population may make it more difficult for the country to attain its social and economic development objectives. This section uses two different population projections— ahigh fertility projection and a declining fertility projection—to consider the impact of population growth on achievement of the development vision. It uses examples from education, health, urbanization, labor force and the economy, agriculture and the environment. The observations of this thesis will also help to the understandings and of the students and schools on the challenges and expectations of the quality of primary education in Tanzania, since most of the schools and students information’s will be provided in chapter four and five of this research, and will guide the government education officials and policymakers to understand the students and teachers challenges better.
