In elementary and middle schools, teachers’ lives can be divided into three layers: life in passiveness of pre self-exploration, life in professional development of self-exploration, and life in lives ’ development of self-exploration. Most teachers in primary and middle schools are living in the environment of weariness and passiveness. Playing the role of pedagogue, they rarely study educational problems and take educational difficulties as nothing. As a result, these teachers stagnate their professional development and lose their subjectivity. They need to transcend their current life, and seek new existential state of self-exploring educational issues, which is of great importance for the development of teachers’ profession and life. It is a new point for teachers ’ development to study how to view the the development of teachers’ profession and life from the aspect of self-exploring educational issues.The author takes primary and mid-school teachers of Master degree and other normal teachers as research subjects. The methods used in the paper are questionnaire investigation, interview and observation. This paper intends to find dilemma of teachers’ current life and make it better, through analyzing the layers and characteristics of teachers’ normal life, as well as features of the procedure that teachers step up to the new life from four aspect: the current state, the ways,the supporting conditions and expectations of teachers self-exploring educational issues. By the compare of which, the ways can be found to construct new life for Master-degree teachers to advance the development of their profession and life, providing examples for teachers to step up to new life.The findings are as follows. Teachers of Master-degree self-explore educational issues in a different condition and way from other normal teachers,so as the forms of life. Comparatively, teachers of Master degree have better educational philosophy, deeper theoretical foundation and intention of theory learning. They realize the development of their profession and life step by step, based on self-exploration of educational issues, with the ability of exploring educational issues, practicing teaching and research, joining teaching research community. Besides, by investigating the supportive environment schools provide to help teachers explore educational issues, the author concludes that the dilemmas teachers are faced with when exploring educational issues are as follows: the shortage of book resource, the burnout of time of energy, the low investment of financial support and reward, the lack of cooperative mechanism between schools. Given the condition, schools can advance teachers to step up to new life by two ways, setting up concept of self-exploration and life development for teachers, creating mechanism od self-exploration and life development.
