Our professional coach is scarce, the coach training mechanism is not well developed, most of them education background is just undergraduate and has few opportunities of learning exchange abroad, they have more time of skiing but short time of teaching, heavy workload so wishing further salary increasing, most coaches are college teachers, seldom are international referee.three.The average age of our athletes is very young. Most of them are come from the three provinces in Northeast of China, male female ratio is imbalanced. Most of them are turn from track field and biathlon, physical quality is well, but the length of training is short, training content is simple, lacking of psychological training and short snow fall training, they are large affected by the training season and environment.four.To effectively solve the problem that occurred in Chinese professional cross country skiing development, such as crew, training status and scientific research level. We should enhance the propagandize work about cross country skiing, improve the training environment, intensify the guarantee of funds, supply more opportunities to excellent referees and coaches that they can study and communicate abroad, promoting the combination of scientific training and systematic training.
