In the advancement of the new curriculum reform and the background of the continuously developing socialist marketing economy, moral education is particularly important for the junior middle school students whose physical and mental development at a critical period. Ideological and moral Education at junior middle school is not only an important part for pushing the new curriculum reform, but the main base of the moral education for junior middle school students in moral trait education, ideological and political, etc. As an important part of the thought personal character class teaching, to establish a scientific and efficient classroom teaching evaluation to adapt to the new curriculum reform and promote physical and mental development of the middle school students. Therefore how to improve classroom teaching evaluation system, make classroom teaching evaluation play a real role in promoting the teaching class has become a major task of our current study.In the reference to the mainly latest research results of the class teaching evaluation and through literature research, questionnaire, interview and observation and other research methods, deeply been discussed on this subject in this paper and this paper consists of three parts include the introduction. The first part is the concept of the teaching evaluation of ideological and moral education in junior high school which discussed the characteristics, requirements, the theoretical basis and the significance separately. I believe that the main significance of this part are that: to promote the classroom teaching reform; to improve the quality of teaching; to provide the evidence for school management scientifically; can be conductive to the teacher’s professional development; provide feedback information and promote the development of students and contribute to the improvement of the ideological and ethical education class teaching evaluation system as well. The second part discusses the problems and causes in current evaluation of the ideological and moral class teaching in junior middle high school. In my opinion, I think those problems are following: teacher lack of the relatively teaching evaluation theory; evaluation of teaching emphasis on the screening function excessively; evaluation of teaching too much emphasis on the screening function; lack of attention to the student’s personal development; constant evaluation methods and directed evaluation subjects. The main causes of these problems are: lack of the related field research in our country; ideological and moral discipline were not taken seriously; exam-oriented education philosophy seriously affect the teacher’s teaching; education resources inhomogeneous distribution. The third part present the measures to improving the classroom teaching evaluation on ideological and ethical education in junior middle high school. These measures are: clear the principles of classroom teaching evaluation; strengthening the teaching evaluation theory of the teacher; insist on the evaluation idea of “teaching from learning”; to carry out the implementation of the teaching evaluation; realize the diversification of the evaluation subjects and establish self-reflection system for teaching evaluation.
