The language is unification of instrumental and humanism. Classical Chinese teaching is an important part of high school Chinese teaching, it not only includes the interpretation of ancient Chinese language knowledge, but also includes the traditional culture. To implement traditional culture education, we should confirm the content of traditional culture in classical Chinese teaching. Based on the reference of related literature, the study take the traditional culture of classical Chinese as the research object, combing cultural content and exploring the traditional culture as the choice of teaching contents and implementation issues. I hope to be able to provide some reference opinion for classical Chinese teaching.The content mainly includes three aspects.First of all, the definition explains the scope of this study, which is the traditional culture related to teaching that in 17 writings in classical style of high school<Chinese> of People’s Education Publishing. The relationship between classical Chinese and traditional culture is close. On the one hand, classical Chinese is a part of traditional culture. On the other hand, carrying forward the traditional culture can not be separated from the classical Chinese teaching. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the traditional culture education in classical Chinese teaching. This is based on the requirements of the new curriculum standard and the national policy guidance. The present situation of the classical Chinese teaching, the cultivation of students’ quality and the needs of the cultural heritage also need traditional culture education.Secondly, the author makes a thorough analysis of traditional culture in the classical Chinese from the perspective of Chinese teaching. The analysis includes the overall analysis and traditional cultural content classification example analysis. The specific content examples mainly from the following several angle carries on the sorting, including history, astronomy, geography and so on. In which each category and contains a number of small classes, such as name appellation, allusion and so on.Finally, it is determined which is fit in the traditional culture content of classical Chinese teaching on the basis of the content of carding and analysis of the content.Based on the results of the survey analysis, We found that the students to grasp the situation of the traditional culture is unsatisfactory, but the point of interest have rules to follow. When choosing traditional culture as the classical Chinese teaching content,we should pay attention to follow the basic principles of cultural heritage and the classical Chinese teaching. The content of the implementation needs to learn the situation as the basis, according to the new curriculum standards, and constantly improve the professional level of teachers.
