the language is a special discipline, has complexly and closely related with culture. The novel is not only the carrier of excellent culture, but also a part of culture, on the one hand, culture is the origin of Chinese curriculum and culture as the Chinese curriculum determines the content and form of the Chinese curriculum, and set rules and qualities for culture, leave culture, curriculum will become empty,flexible activities. On the other hand, Chinese curriculm make up culture, Chinese curriculum as an important means of cultural transmission, communication, for the creation and integration of culture provides carrier and terms, leave the course, culture become one pond of dead water, culture will also be end. Novel as a unique genre,because of its universality and diversity, is an important part of Chinese curriculum,has close relation with the open-minded culture, and be loved by students.The curriculum emphasizes the students should learn to care about contemporary life in study, respect and understanding the diversity cultural, the content of novel is rich and colorful, rooted in the human outstanding culture, cultural perspective of high school novel teaching can add students’ cultural experience, promote the comprehensive development of students. Cultural perspective of high school novel teaching, therefore, has become in recent years a new perspective of traditional novel teaching exploration and reform, has important significance for middle school students’ physical and mental development.This article from the cultural perspective talk about the current school novel teaching situation, analysis and then sums up the problems existing in the current high school novel teaching: teachers’ novel ideas are obsolete, lack of targeted guidance,teaching goals are not clear and novel reading problems, based on cultural factors in the novel, from aspects such as classroom teachers, students, put forward concrete teaching strategies: first, to transform teachers’ understanding of the novel, to guide the students to read. Second, to take effective teaching strategy, optimize the novel teaching classroom, diversely reading text. Finally, rich students’ cultural experience,improve the cross-cultural awareness.
