The Social Work Intervention On The Safety Education Of Migrant Children In The Village In The City

In recent years,with the media’s coverage of child safety accidents, child safety problem has become the focus of widespread concern. Complex social environment,parental supervision neglect, self-protection awareness is not strong and a series of causes of child safety accidents. The incident of the poisonous powdered milk "big head baby", Sudan, illegal vaccine cases against the many children of illegal events so that the majority of parents at a loss. How to also the children a safe living environment, so that they grow up in a safe space, a lot of scholars have become a topic of discussion.With the accelerated process of urbanization and industrialization in China, some people go out of their hometown to work hard and become a floating population living in the location of non residence. The rapid growth of the number of floating population has a majority of migrant workers are migrant children. At present, our country’s academic focus is still on the left behind children, but ignore the rapid growth of the number of migrant children,especially the safety problem of migrant children.Just because of this, the annual summer flow of child safety accidents has become the focus of major media coverage, but the community has not yet feasible to improve the methods and measures. Migrant children as a special group, because of their living environment and their own particularity, so that the author pay more attention to the safety education of the migrant children.I had the honor to participate in Shenzhen City, L institutions on the village of migrant children’s safety prevention and self-help projects, in the project to understand and come into contact with the village in the city of migrant children.Therefore, I hope that through the perspective of social work, with social work professional ideas and skills to introduced and analyzed the project.At the same time, combined with the previous studies on this kind of problem, summed up some of the feasibility of the practice and measures about the current "village in the city" flow of child safety education.For the future to strengthen the city village and other migrant children’s safety education issues to provide specific operational guidance and reference, to promote the solution of the problem of migrant children in practice.In this paper, several parts are discussed.First, in the introduction section,The author according to the purpose and significance of this paper were briefly described, analysis of problem of safety education for children in floating families at home and abroad related research and literature review,but also a brief description of the research methods.Secondly, in the second chapter, the author introduces the related concepts and theories of "migrant children", "the village in the city" and so on.In the third chapter of the "village in the city" to investigate the safety needs of migrant children,In the survey the author finds that the village migrant children in the family, schools, as well as outdoor, there are large and small security risks, the incidence of accidental injury is greater.Meanwhile, the author according to the needs of the causes of the problems are described, and doing a series of discussion from the subjective aspects of the family, the school management and the government and the community’s attention respectively.The author in the forth chapter to participate in the A project as an example, through the actual case analysis, focuses on the specific measures for the safety education of migrant children in the village in the city under the intervention of social work. And the author evaluates and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the actual situation after the intervention of social workers.Finally, according to the literature research and case analysis, summed up the "village in the city" floating children’s security problems, and provide lessons for the future development of similar projects.
