A Study On The Safety Of Migrant Children Involved In Social Work In Urban Villages

With the continuous acceleration of urbanization,migrant workers and their families are entering cities to seek development and form a floating population.With the continuous occurrence of various safety accidents for migrant children,safety issues are becoming increasingly prominent.The safety issues of migrant children in urban villages cannot be ignored.The safety of migrant children is not only of great significance for their healthy growth and family happiness,but also has a significant impact on social stability,which requires attention and attention.The purpose and philosophy of social work is to help those in need,link resources,construct social support networks,and promote personal development.Its work philosophy and methods are in line with the safety education needs of migrant children in R community,and can play an important role in enhancing their safety awareness.This article takes migrant children in R community as the research object,using questionnaire,interview,and observation methods as research methods,and finds that migrant children in R community have weak safety awareness;Mobile children face risks such as using fire and electricity at home,traffic safety issues,being abducted,food safety issues,and cyber security.According to the investigation,the cause of home safety issues is weak safety awareness,insufficient traffic safety drills,and inadequate food safety education and supervision,which leads to food safety hazards for mobile children in the community.The emergence of network security issues is related to the imperfect safety monitoring system.In response to the issue of migrant children,six safety education groups for migrant children were designed with the themes of sharing safety knowledge,identifying community safety hazards,and applying safety skills.The aim is to raise children’s safety awareness,learn about traffic and home fire and electricity safety knowledge,food anti kidnapping safety knowledge,and identify network security traps.Under the guidance of social learning theory,through games,scenario simulations,videos,knowledge competitions,and lectures,team members can observe and learn safety knowledge,improve safety awareness,identify potential safety hazards,and enhance their ability to avoid risks.Finally,based on the completion of group goals,participation of group members,evaluation of group activity effectiveness,satisfaction evaluation of group members,and evaluation of social workers,it is concluded that group work has certain effectiveness in enhancing the safety awareness and learning safety knowledge of migrant children in urban villages.The involvement of group work in enhancing the safety awareness of migrant children is promotable.In addition,social workers lack skills in group work,and the effectiveness of group activities needs to be consolidated.The practical application ability of social work also needs to be strengthened.Finally,based on the practical experience of social work and the guidance of social risk theory,five countermeasures and suggestions for the practical application of social work to the safety of migrant children are proposed.
