In the traditional classroom, most of the time teachers are working independently, relying on personal ability alone to solve various problems. In recent years, scholars began to question the effectiveness of the traditional teaching mode, which carried out the research on teachers’ cooperative teaching. The positive significance of cooperative teaching and the challenge and controversy in the process of implementation had been explored in depth, however these studies paid little attention to the specific influence of cooperation on teachers.This paper explored the effect of cooperation on the elementary moral and society teachers when they prepare a lesson. In the process of independent preparing-cooperative discussion-redesign the teaching scheme, with a thorough comparative analysis of teachers’ instructional design before and after the cooperative discussion, we attempts to find out the influence of cooperation on teachers’social cognition, value guidance and behavior guidance, etc. At the same time, the teachers’view of cooperative lesson preparation was collected and analyzed using the method of interview. Study found that through sharing knowledge and experience exchange between teachers, teachers’ perception of teaching material has been expanding, cooperation can help teachers to gain a more comprehensive understanding of social phenomenon, to remedy the limitations of lesson preparing of the elementary moral and society teachers due to lack of knowledge. In addition, through the debate of value issues, teachers’value orientation became more clearly, cooperation can help teachers to establish their value orientation. Finally, through brainstorming from multiple angles, cooperation makes teachers think in a deeper and more specific way, to develop a more comprehensive behavioral guideline. At the same time, cooperation can help teachers gain a more extensive and in-depth understanding of social facts, although the impact on the value orientation of teachers in the teaching scheme is limited, only affect teachers based on realistic judge. However, teachers’ understanding of the related social facts affect the development of moral and social behavior guidelines, the more teachers’ understanding of the relevant social facts, the more comprehensive and in-depth the student behavior guidelines prepared, even extended to instruction for help seeker in case of emergency.This paper tries to apply the theory of cooperative teaching to elementary moral and society class over the concrete practice of lesson preparing. We aim to attract the teachers’attention to focus on the effectiveness of cooperative teaching, and finally to help them to realize the efficient cooperation and establish the cooperative teaching culture.
