New Course Standard emphasizes teaching should be student-centered, inspire the potential abilities of students. It aims at improving students’ learning autonomy and establishing a student- learning teaching mode. Based on this background, the author does some research and analysis about the "Learning plan guidance " teaching mode which has been taken into the classroom teaching.Learning plan guidance is one kind of teaching mode in which it appears as a carrier of the new knowledge. Before students learn the new knowledge, they make full use of the learning plan guidance to have a self- study. Compared with traditional teaching modes, learning plan guidance pays more attention to cultivate the self- study ability, and it can give full play to the main role of students in the process of teaching.The first part describes the research background of "learning plan guidance". Combined with the requirements of the New Course Standard, it is compared and analyzed with the traditional teaching mode. The second part is a general overview of the model, mainly based on the previous research results introduced the concepts and characteristics of the model. The third part is on the basis of the theoretical basis of the model, including the zone of proximal development theory, the theory of constructivism, Bruner’s discovery teaching method theory, meaningful learning theory and philosophical theory. The fourth part introduces the process of the preparation of the model, the implementation steps and classroom case analysis. The fifth part is the focus of this paper, through the design of experiments, interviews, questionnaires and other research methods to draw the results were analyzed and discussed. That the "learning plan guidance" mode in the junior middle school biology teaching plays a positive role to cultivate students’ autonomous learning ability and improve the students’ learning efficiency. Then owing to some problems and limitations that appear in teaching model of "learning plan guidance", the author proposes own views and the countermeasures. Finally, the author of the study, summed up the advantages and disadvantages of this paper.After a semester of study, the author considers that the "learning plan teaching" is feasible in biology education in high school. I hope this thesis can offer some meaningful reference for the application of "learning plan teaching".
