Application of landscape ecology theories, and based on it increase "time" concept, and Integration various regions of landscape, eventually built an efficient and orderly network system. One is to grasp the "patch, corridor, matrix, edge, time" five elements, combined with mountain traditional settlements landscape constitute conceptual replacement; The other hand,based on the landscapes, and analysis of the spatial pattern of settlement, final build group, axis and hybrid(scattered) three types of network systems.Chongqing is China’s largest and youngest municipality, its mountain traditional settlements number and unique.
