Along with the international trend of education reform and teacher education in our country standard promulgation and further promote elementary education curriculum reform, teachers’ professional development become an important part of the study of education.Based on geography subject core literacy was proposed and the implementation of the new college entrance examination reform, forcing training of normal colleges and universities to the education of geography teachers put forward new requirements, should cultivate a solid professional knowledge, teaching ability outstanding, innovative and competitive new master degree of education.Teaching competition ability is an important content of new master degree of education to cultivate, also is the indispensable part of teacher professional development.This paper by geography education professional master’s teaching competition ability promotion research as the breakthrough point, with multiple intelligence theory, incentive theory, teachers’ professional development theory as the instruction, with literature review, questionnaire investigation, case analysis and comparative induction as the research methods, such as first-line teachers, colleges and universities in interview research part of middle school geography teaching method of teachers and students participated in the teaching competition, on the basis of understanding of teaching competition ability promotion, focusing on the content of geography teaching competition ability to promote and improve the countermeasure and the way to a systematic study.Geography teaching the content of the competition ability to ascend including design thinking, design highlights, such as teaching ability of the design, including to make content integration, such as making expressive ability of the courseware, including enlightening guidance, communication, etc. Their interactive communication skills.Attaches great importance to the demonstration against the content of the teaching competition ability promotion steering drill, advocating pertinency, strengthening the students’ initiative, teaching competition ability promotion countermeasures, from the full use of network resources, to play a team strength, vigorously implement the micro-standard teaching aspects to explore the teaching way of competition ability to ascend,Citing "exert students’ initiative to choose the thermal circulation of courseware image information" and "using microteaching improve communication ability", such as distinct themes, variety, content, refining the 10 cases of select material, further refine teaching countermeasure and the way to promote the competition ability is discussed in this paper.Study geography education professional master of teaching content, countermeasure and the way to promote the competition ability to improve the new master of education professional training quality, enhance professional master’s innovation ability and competition ability of teaching the new curriculum reform and employment competitiveness, promote the geography teachers’ professional development and professional development has an important enlightenment and the positive practical significance.
