The health of youth has long been paid great attention by our nation. The City of Shanghai is in a leading level in our nation’s education, and the method of measuring physical health of students in Shanghai ranks first in our nation. However the health of youth still need great concern and to be improved. Due to the unique characteristics of strong dependence, limited travel capacity and the initial stage of interest formation, what’s more, the space structure of sports activities has a large influence on pupils’ participation in sports activities,it also has important role of space carrier. So rational guide for pupils in sports ground resource for elementary school services and the rational distribution of public sports ground resource can play a key role in improving the physical exercise of pupils in Jing’an district. This paper uses literature information method, interview method, field survey method, mathematical statistics method, logic analysis method and GIS space technology analysis method and so on. Taking the spatial structure of the sports stadium of pupils in Jing’an district, Shanghai City as an example, primary and middle schools’ stadium are the main research object, relying on the survey data of the sixth census of stadium in Jing’an district in 2013, and Shanghai city information of statistics. Based on full master of Shanghai City sports sites, and living population as well as primary and middle school students population, then analysis was made on the overall features of the sports sites of primary and middle school in Jing’an district Shanghai City. The paper also studied the spatial structure of physical acticities in primary school, and analysed the general spatial characteristics of the physical activities in the primary school in Jing’an district, Shanghai. Based on spatial behavior theory, revealing the number, area, open space, service and overall consistency as well as of population distribution features for the stadiums in Jing’an district. The work above can provide basis for improving the use efficiency and building a perfect fitness services place. The research reveals the conclusions below:(1)the population in Shanghai grows rapidly in the recent five years, which mainly caused by the people from other pvovinces. The average area of sports stadium in Shanghai is above the criterion in ’outline of the nationwide body-building plan ". But because of the small amount of average stadium area in schools, this paper advise that not only the school stadium open to school students, but also public stadium open to school students for free. It is very important for the rational and effective distribution and utilization of public stadiums. (2)Due to the large population density in central city of Shanghai, the average number and area of stadium in Jing’an district is below the criterion in " outline of the nationwide body-building plan ". Most of the school stadiums in Jing’an district are non-standard outdoor sports field and hardware facilities do not meet the criterion of opening. Therefore most of them are open to the public on weekends, and the amount of stadiums is very small.(3) Most pupils in Jing’an district spend long time in physical exercise, outdoor space of physical exercises are more selected; Their favourite place for physical exercise is the ones close to communities, as well as most popular community sports center. Moreover, students may also choose to go to the stadium in business over the weekend to participate in sports training; most of the travel distance is around lkm, half of the way of going to these places are walking.(4) the random distribution of the Jing’an district primary schools’ sports venues, school stadium gathering in good distribution, the density of street sports ground are in "mission-style", so it can make better use of primary school sports ground, and does not cause excessive concentration or partial lack of disequilibrium phenomenon. (5) the Jing’an district primary school sports grounds and residential couple better, only little area coupled bias. (6) the Jing’an district primary school sports service is better, in terms of the accessibility are more convenient, especially for pupils who are enrolled. Bad service on the one hand, is the aspects such as school sports ground area, the specification is insufficient.
