Active and regular physical activity can promote the physical and mental health of primary and secondary school students.According to the survey results,the overall level of physical activity of primary and secondary school students in China is not enough,leading to the rise of the incidence of chronic non-communicable diseases such as overweight and obesity.People pay great attention to the current situation of insufficient physical activity,and all sectors of society are looking for limited intervention measures to improve the level of physical activity of primary and secondary school students.Previous intervention studies focused more on the analysis of personal factors and social environmental factors on the physical activity of primary and secondary school students.The results show that the physical activity intervention of primary and middle school students based on individual psychological factors and social support at the school level has poor effects and poor persistence.In recent years,the influence of built environment on physical activity of primary and secondary school students has gradually become a new hotspot.Previous studies on built environment have proved that the built environment near the home has a positive impact on physical activity of primary and secondary school students.Schools are also the main activity places for primary and middle school students,but the influence of the built environment around schools on physical activity of primary and middle school students is not clear enough.Port river in jingzhou shashi secondary,primary,falling in to close a small eightschools such as primary and secondary school students and the school sports venues,parks,sports education institutions around as the research object,using physical activity questionnaire,to study the status quo of physical activity of jingzhou city primary and middle school students,using ArcGIS for these eight school sports venues,park,near the location distribution of sports education institutions.The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between physical activity of primary and middle school students and the built environment around the school,so as to provide theoretical basis for the construction and optimization of the built environment around the school in the future.The aim is to improve the physical activity level of primary and secondary school students and promote their physical health.The findings of this study are as follows:(1)the physical activity level of jingzhou students is seriously inadequate;(2)in the environment with a large number of parks around the school,primary school girls have more physical activities;(3)in the environment with more physical education institutions and parks around the school,girls in primary school have more moderate and heavy physical activity,while boys in primary school have less moderate and heavy physical activity.This study suggests that:(1)the physical activity level of jingzhou students is seriously inadequate;(2)the built environment around the school is an important factor for physical activity of primary and secondary school students.
