On The Transition And Experience Of College Student’ Political Identity Since The Period Of Reform And Opening–up

Political identity is a very important phenomenon in the social and political life. The status of political identity hold by college students not only is able to reflect the students’ political psychology, but also shows directly the ideology and politics education effects of university. The active political identity of college students contribute to the political identity of ruling party’s influence in the youth, enhance the party’s legitimacy foundation, it also contribute to the realization of training objectives of the ideological and political education. The understanding of college students’ political identification performance in different periods can improve the ideological and political education on college students’ political psychology, prevent the facts that college students are caused by the large-scale social events impact on social stability due to the political sensitivities.The college students’ political identity in different historical stages due to the background oof evolution factors present a different theme. At the beginning of the reform and opening up, the college students’ political identity shows the characteristics of two phase. In the early 90 s, after the establishment of the socialist market economy makes the eyes of the whole society gathered in the field of economy, college students’ political identification as the change of the economic situation in our country present a rational and pragmatic side, taking economic development as the leading performance significantly. Entering the 21 st century, great changes of the political, economic and social situation in our country have taken place.In this period, college students’ political identity is mainly dominated by the standard of the people’s livelihood and social justice in the civil rights and it become a consensus.Through college students’ political identification performance in different historical stages, you can see that social and economic development is the fundamental reason of affect college students’ political identity, social and political situation is the direct cause, the important attaches and correct guidance of the party and the goverment is the important guarantee of social and cultural ideological trend is an important reason, therefore, the country should continues to promote the development of social economy, universities should constantly improve the way and content of ideological and political education, adhere to the correct political orientation in the education of colleges and universities first.
