Study Of Contemporary College Students’ Political Identity Under The Perspective Of Political Stability

It’s the very important significance for the maintenance of politicalstability, social harmony and national revival to study the political identityof the contemporary college students, to accurately grasp the current state ofthe students ’political identity, to discover the problems of political identityin college students and to explore the effective ways to improve students’political identity.We found that the overall recognition of contemporary college students of thepolitical beliefs, the nation, the Chinese Communist Party, the government as wellas political system is not very high and blindness, which is undoubtedly a serioushazard to social and political stability. The reason why the political identityof college students is not high, mainly due to the impact of society, schools,networks, families, and college students and other factors, the most obvious isthe social factors. Therefore, in order to change the current status of thecontemporary college students overall political identity and improve students’political identity so that to maintain the social and political stability, shouldstart from several aspects. Firstly, strengthen the party building, andmaintaining the advanced nature of the Party members, and establish a good imageof the ruling party. Secondly we should create a pro-people government so thatto enhance government appeal and trust force. Thirdly we should constantly improvethe political system, which fully reflects its superiority. Fourth, we also needto innovative the methods of the ideological and political education to strengthenideological and political education of college students. Last but not least, wecan improve the student political identity though the political practiceactivities.In addition, firstly we described the basic concepts of political identity,political stability, and the relationship between the political identity andpolitical stability, especially the relationship between students’ politicalidentity and political stability. On the basis of existed research results wedefined the meaning of "political identity" and "political stability". We hold the idea that the political identity is an emotional and awareness sense whichpeople who live in the social and political life of the countries, feeling forthe political parties, institutions, government, political beliefs and politicalobject. And the political stability refers to the entire political system is ina stable and orderly operation of the state. And we also explained the importantsignificance of students’ political identity and political stability.
