As the knowledge change destiny concept widely accepted, the education level of rural increasingly unable to meet the needs of rural family hope children get good education, so that under the current situation of the accompany studying phenomenon arises at the historic moment. From the mother accompanied to grandparents who accompany their grandchildren studying at school. Grandparents are generally in the 60 years of age or older, itself belongs to the vulnerable groups. Coupled with the particularity of the study accompaniment, the change of environment and role transformation make grandparents face more difficulties.This paper adopts qualitative research method. Eight grandparents of Yulin Suide conducted interviews, I try to understand their current situation and the predicament of the rural grandparents who accompany their grandchildren studying at school.To understand the present status of social support network interruption in the process.Through the analysis of the interview data, I will be summarized into four aspects, the predicament of the rural grandparents who accompany their grandchildren studying at school includes life predicament,economic difficulties, psychological predicament and communication difficulties.Aiming at the predicament of the rural grandparents who accompany their grandchildren studying at school.The author try to use professional method of group work in social work practice intervention,through the group activities in effect assessment,to explore the feasibility and effectiveness of the team work in the predicament of the rural grandparents who accompany their grandchildren studying at school.Expect this to localization of social work intervention has made certain contribution.In this paper, based on the theory of increasing power theory, social support,aim at the predicament of the rural grandparents who accompany their grandchildren studying at school,by conducting mutual study group and adopting the combination of interview and questionnaire survey method to evaluate the effectiveness of group work intervention.Eventually come to the conclusion:Help each other in study group can meet the demand of grandparents psychological and emotional needs at the same time to expand their scope of interpersonal communication,form a peer support network,At the same time to make them form a self-help group,in later life can support and help each other, promote each other’s ability and the construction of self-esteem.
