| As the rapid development of science and technology and high speed propulsion of information technology especially the development of emerging technologies of cloud computing and mobile communications representatively, the theory and technology of online education getting matures day by day. At the same time, online education become more and more popular with the diversification of life style, learning style, and working style.For online education is different from traditional education, e.g. chalkface, online education call for new theories and technologies. Online education transcends constraints of time, space and geographical and brings difficulty of the supervision of itself. Supervision of old type such as tests and examinations of teaching and learning hardly supply enough confidence of effectiveness of it. The supervision for effectiveness of online education needs new method. The mature of theory, technology and application of human face perception afford the supervision for effectiveness of online education based on human face perception. Human face perception includes face detection, facial feature extraction, face contour detection, face recognition and many others and widely used in monitoring, security, defense and other real life applications. The tireless efforts of countless research institutions and researchers make it possible for application of supervision for effectiveness human face perception on online education.This thesis studies the research and application of human face perception on online education supervision effectiveness. The major of thesis is achieving the supervision effectiveness of online education with theory and technologies of human face perception. We provide a new approach for online education supervision effectiveness by face detection and recognition with camera on both PC and smart phone. The main work of this thesis lists as below.Firstly, we analyze the status of online education and human face perception and stressed that, the supervision for effectiveness of online education should rely on new method, e.g. transversion, to eliminate the drawbacks of old type supervision based on result for the particularity of online education.Second, we design and develop system for online education supervision effectiveness and focusing on face detection and recognition of users. By analyze of facial gestures, we can supervision and evaluate the effectiveness of online education by face matching.What’s more, we design and develop system for online education supervision effectiveness based on camera of Android smart phone and focusing on face detection and recognition of users. By analyze of facial gestures, we can supervision and evaluate the effectiveness of online education by face matching..Finally, we combine system for online education supervision effectiveness based on camera of both PC and Android smart phone with human face perception and applied it in simplicity online education platform. The system running well during testing and verify the feasibility, rationality and validity of application of human face perception on online education and can be used together with the old type based on results. There is a certain theoretical significance and practical value of the method proposed by us. |
