Use the moral way to influence people, it is the nature of education and the effective path to the schooling education. The culture construction of higher vocational colleges is the key to the development of connotation of the school and the important force of school’s reform and development. We must pay higher attention on the cultural construction of the vocational college to develop vocational education. From the perspective of moral leadership by Tomas·J·Sergiovanni to analyze some problems and deficiencies in the development of higher vocational education and put forward the effective strategy to strengthen the vocational college culture-building, it has reference value to rich the construction and development theory of vocational colleges and to carry forward the reform and development of higher vocational education.In the past ten years, the higher vocational colleges in our country has developed rapidly, the cultural construction also has made a progress in terms of the richness of the content, or in terms of cultural quality. But still exist some problems, theoretical research is not enough, the understanding level is not enough, the cultural characteristic is not obvious, the management system is not perfect and the function is not enough. Based on the theory of moral leadership, they targeted to put forward six effective construction strategies: Firstly, strengthen moral leadership, enhancing the cultural moral connotation in higher vocational colleges; Secondly, build up the virtue school, shape the cultural of self-consciousness, self-esteem, confidence, diligence, hard work and the spirit of craftsman; Thirdly, play a role in professional and moral authority, constructing the university culture of shared values. Fourthly, create a shared vision, creating a cohesive college culture. Fifth, construct learning community, creating a cooperative and win-win college culture. Sixth, shape substitute of moral leadership, promoting the autonomy of teachers in higher vocational colleges.To strengthen the moral leadership is only a dimension of researching and advancing the cultural construction in the higher vocational colleges, but also need to improve the cultural construction of higher vocational colleges from other perspective.
