| The vocational education is an important part of the country’s higher education;it undertakes the mission of cultivating high quality talents with technical abilities formanufacturing, constructing, managing and servicing, etc. The school culture is thespirit of higher vocational colleges and it’s also the soft power to make vocationaleducation move forward. The thesis researches the connotation and meaning ofculture construction, how to construct school culture of Chinese vocational collegeswith distinctive characteristics which is a meaningful topic for research both in theoryand in practice. In order to make a breakthrough of the study result, the topic for theresearch selects the higher vocational colleges under Chinese background; and themethods for research insists on combining history and reality, theory and practice.The topic consists of three parts. The first part has two chapters which are thebasic of this topic. The first chapter makes explanation on some problems about“Study on Cultural Construction of Chinese Vocational Collegesâ€. The second chapterprobes into the theoretical basis of the topic in order to have some theoreticalguidance. The second part includes chapter three, chapter four and chapter five whichare the main part of the thesis. In this part it makes research on the connotation andmeaning of cultural construction of Chinese vocational colleges, the characteristiccultural construction of Chinese vocational colleges, and the aspects of culturalconstruction of Chinese vocational colleges. It shows the difference between schoolculture and campus culture, also it elaborates the three major functions of schoolculture which are guidance and stimulation function, restriction and debuggingfunction, aggregation and radiation function. This part puts forward the significanceof cultural construction in vocational colleges. Also it states the view of how toconstruct the school culture of Chinese vocational colleges with distinctive features.The view is to derive from the corporate culture to combine with region and industry.At last, it puts forward five aspects of cultural construction of Chinese vocationalcolleges which are spirit culture, system culture, behavior culture, environment culture and campus culture. The third part is the conclusion of the study whichreiterates the importance of cultural construction of Chinese vocational colleges. |
