Constitution consciousness is the core of legal consciousness, it reflects not only the degree of civilization of a country, and has a direct and close contacts with the national legal Construction, it is to achieve the prerequisites for the rule of law. University students’ consciousness of Constitution means the Constitution of college students in human behavior and understanding of the special role in the process of social relations, including the Constitution of cognition, emotion and evaluation, will and faith are inner experiences, is directly reflected in the constitutional authority on the mind. Cultivate the college students ’ consciousness of Constitution is the inevitable requirement of promoting the rule of law. Therefore, either in theory or in practice in-depth study of the issue is of great significance.In this paper, after expounded the consciousness of Constitution-related concepts, combined with the data analysis of the questionnaire results, then from positive and negative, investigate the current situation of college students’ consciousness of Constitution, mainly in: recognizing the importance of constitutional, concern about the constitutional cases eagerness, look forward to building on the country’s rule of law. However, the constitutional consciousness of college students still exist some problems that cannot be ignored, Constitution of University students cognitive biases, emotional Constitution of paleness, constitutional evaluation of misconduct, lack of faith in the Constitution. These problems have seriously hindered the constitutional consciousness of college students ’ establishing. There are many reasons that lead to loss of students ’ consciousness of Constitution, it is the result of social, school, family and college students affect and restrict. Cultivate college students ’ consciousness of Constitution should explore in many ways, and multiple angle probes. From these four main factors, in this paper proposed that we should through a comprehensive environment in creating constitutional education, improving the effectiveness of constitutional education in colleges, completing the constitutional system, and strengthen the efforts to legal education, strengthening selfcultivation of college students and other concrete paths, rising the levels of college students’ consciousness of Constitution.
