The Influence And Countermeasures Study Of Face Psychology To Undergraduates

In Chinese life, face psychology is a typical social psychological phenomenon. For the special group of undergraduates, face psychology has a prominent influence on their learning, interpersonal relationships, job hunting and other aspects. It has become a kind of psychological problems that partial undergraduates love face which have deviated from the normal track. Such as, with the impact of market economy during the period of social transformation, a lot of college students regard face as money, they think money is equivalent to the face; they attach importance of material enjoyment and compare with each other; some students granted that the “God’s favored one” should find a decent job, who rebuffed in the process of applying for a job again and again; some students choose to take a shortcut through cheating in the exam to win face while the academic achievement is still very important in school. These negative face psychologies have seriously affected the mental health of college students. Therefore, it is not only has a certain practical significance to cultivate university students, but also a subject of Ideological and Political educator in the college to research on the influence and guidance countermeasures of face psychology to college students.This paper revolves around face psychological impact on college student to start on. The first part of the paper introduces the background, significance of the topic, present domestic and foreign research situation as well as the research design; The second part defines the related concept of face psychology and point out five dimensions about the face psychological impact on college students; The third part combine with empirical research to explore the face psychology of college students and summarize the positive and negative effects of face psychology to the college students; The forth part excavates the cause of the face psychological negative influence on college students, this section is explored from four perspectives: society, school, family and themselves; The fifth part put forward effective countermeasures based on the previous study, including pay an attention to social utility, create virtuous school environment, change the idea of family education and strengthen positive self-consciousness.
