The study put forward the main point based on both foreign and domestic research about teacher’s learning power that teacher’s learning power refers to the ability of obtain, reserve, transform and manage all kinds of teachers’ knowledge which can be gradually developed from teaching activities. This learning power can be divided into four dimensions, learning motivation, learning ability, learning volition and learning innovation respectively. Questionnaire on teacher’s learning power has been designed and sent to 151 teachers in junior school from Z province. The results indicated that the overall score of teachers’ learning power is positive, while it reaches the peak on teachers’ learning motivation and down to the minimum on teachers’ learning innovation. Referring to the personal background variables, it can be found that male teachers showed more excellent work among all those dimensions and the learning motivation would be the most significant. Teachers’ learning power will enhance with the longer of their work, but it showed slightly fall for the teachers who worked for 6-10 years. Apart from above, the result suggested the teacher in charge of class tend to perform worse than general teachers in the learning power. The conclusion would be raised based on comparing teacher’s performance through all the dimensions that teachers are clear about their learning aspiration while confused on learning innovation; Teachers showed poor self-management skill and theoretical capacity on learning; Though the sense of reflective thinking has already been built, the habit did not formed yet. Information and scientific research literacy is still need an improvement. Thus, suggestions has been lifted to improve teacher’s learning power: for individual teacher, self-management skills on learning need to be improved, learning effectiveness can be developed by using strategies; Cultivate technology and information literacy; Improve learning achievement conversion rates. For schools and society support system, it is suggested to pay more attention to the psychological health of teachers, foster a good atmosphere of co-learning as well as add learning power theory into teacher’s post-work education and forming a technical supporting system.
