Information technology has developed rapidly after entering the 21 st century,and people’s lifestyles have undergone earth-shaking changes.The times and society have put forward new requirements for human developments.Education has also kept pace with the era.The penetration of lifelong learning concepts and the implementation of educational quality have all achieved great success.Learning power has emerged in such an environment.This research adopts the path of “theory-investigation-recommendation”.First,it uses the literature analysis method to sort out relevant research results,then defines the characteristics of the research object such as it’s connotation,elements,and characteristics,and forms the overall theoretical framework of the study.Second the study will be further to explore and construct the model of junior high school students’ mathematics learning power.Based on the analysis of each dimension of the model,a questionnaire was prepared to investigate and analyze the current level of mathematics learning power of junior high school students.The survey data was used to quantify and acquire the characteristic values of learning power.Finally,combined with the results of the analysis,some suggestions are given for mathematics teaching in junior high schools.Based on this research path,the paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction,which explains the paper’s background and significance,the theoretical basis of the study of constructivism and cognitive development theory,then clarifies the necessity and urgency of the study.combing the relevant item,delete the irrelevant item.Defined the core concepts of "learning power" and "mathematics learning power" on the basis of those information and my own understanding.The second part is theoretical analysis,which explains the connotation,denotation meaning,elements and characteristics of learning power.It is intended to define the essence the nature of learning power.From general to specific,it goes deep into mathematics and reach the essence of mathematics learning.That is,the learning ability of mathematics is the energy system that learners rely on in the process of learning mathematics,consuming mathematics,and creating mathematics.It contains three dimensions: foundations of mathematics learning,Driving force of mathematics learning,and auxiliary of mathematics learning.Combining the essential characteristics of the mathematics subject and it’s disciplines,the foundation of mathematics learning includes knowledge and experience,cooperation and communication,practice and inquiry,criticism and innovation;The driving force mathematics learning includes learning demand and learning comprehension;Auxiliary of mathematics learning includes recognition Knowledge,metacognitive and resource management.The third part is the construction of the model.Based on the learning power theory,the physical and mental development laws of junior high school students,the essence of mathematics,and the social requirements.The model of the mathematical learning ability of junior high school students is constructed.Then explained the three major parts of the model one by one.The fourth part is the investigation and study.According to the indicators of junior high school students’ mathematics learning ability,I designed a questionnaire for the learning ability of mathematics,and measured more than 800 students in two regions of Sichuan Province.Then the data were quantitatively analyzed.The results show that the overall level of mathematics learning ability of junior high school students is positive.Most students are in the middle level and slightly lower levels.there is significant differences in three grades,it showing an upward trend.Students performed best in the Driving force part,followed by the auxiliary part,and the weakest part is foundation;students’ learning ability is highly correlated with their academic performance.The fifth part is the research countermeasures.Combining with the analysis results of the fourth part,the countermeasures to improve junior middle school students’ mathematics learning power are proposed from three dimensions.Basic force promotion strategy: the cultivation of basic thinking,the dialogue of problems and life,the innovation of textbooks and teaching methods;the driving force promotion strategy: the correct view of mathematics,active learning concept;Promotion strategies: classroom learning strategies;after class study strategies.Through this study,I hope that I can contribute a bit to the theory and practice of mathematical learning power.
