Shadowboxing is going together with the broad and profound traditional culture of China, which is the proved Intangible Cultural Heritage in sport. With deepening of physical education curriculum reform in colleges and universities in China, shadowboxing becomes popular sports in many universities and colleges thanks to its unique charms of theory and graceful movements.Shadowboxing can not only improve the body of students, in line with traditional Chinese values, but also can help college students to shape good personality through soothing rhythm and rich connotation of boxing theory. Shadowboxing should get the favor of countless college students, but the status quo is the shadowboxing class teaching methods lack of innovation, poor sense of rhythm and dull, which let the students lost interests in learning. Based on the status quo of the research as the breakthrough point, we would like to put forward reasonable suggestions for college of shadowboxing teaching, as well as really improve the teaching effect of shadowboxing class.The research object of this study is shenyang ordinary full-time colleges and universities, the author selected 10 in shenyang universities, and take a questionnaire survey to the students and teachers. Using questionnaires, expert interviews and data collection and so on as the research method of this paper, respectively carry out present situation investigation of tai chi class in the 10 universities, and carries on questionnaire survey data statistics and analysis, the following are some results: for the teaching content, most of the students are taught with 24 style shadowboxing movements, but dabble in less theoretical knowledge; for teaching method, most of us adopt methods of oral and imitation, but there ’ s no breakthrough and innovation; for the field of shadowboxing, there’s less universities set the class in special places, which lead to less investment; for teachers, the distribution of men and women is not the average, mostly are male teachers, and the age at 40-50 as well as the master’s degree. Found in the survey of students, the reason of most students choose learning shadowboxing is thinking that it’s easy to get score, and the proportion of having real interests in learning shadowboxing is low.We can come to a conclusion from the study that, shadowboxing context is single, and lack of useful teaching methods, places and fund is the important factor that affect the development of shadowboxing teaching. Therefore, we need to draw lessons from the advantages of taichi and to use media influence reasonably. We also need to combine a variety of teaching methods and to build good taijiquan learning environment, as well as combine classroom and after school. What’ s more, it’ s also important for us to strengthen community in the influence of taijiquan activity and to use various methods to bring up the lovers, finally constantly improve the influence of shadowboxing teaching in universities.
