Since the 19 th century, the United States attaches great importance to the teacher education, and set up dedicated teacher training school. Later in the century teacher education reform unceasingly, and gradually focus on the pre-service practice of teacher education. until the 1980 s the United States began to explore the reform of teacher education cooperative innovation, and to the PDS model is the most typical. On the one hand, this study refer to the macro analysis of the practice education of pre-service teachers development, motivation of the PDS model;on the other hand,to the microcosmic analysis of the target,characteristics,participant,organization,management and guarantee of the PDS model combineed with the university of Mississippi PDS case analysis. In order to put forward some suggestions for Chinese teachers collaborative innovation throgh learning from the experience of American.This article includ six parts:The first part is introduction, mainly includes the core problem, the literature review and concept definition;The second part involves the development and motivation of PDS model of teacher education pre-service practice: in American;The third part focus on the PDS model of teacher education pre-service practice: the participation subject,the objectivesand Training contents;The fourth part explores the operation of the PDS model of teacher education pre-service practice:, including its operation in the process of organization and management, operation mechanism and quality guarantee;The fifth analyzes the operation and practice of the PDS model of teacher education pre-service practice,with taking the university of Mississippi PDS as an example; The sixth part according to the effect and insufficiency of American PDS mode and the actual situation of our country, put forward some reasonable Suggestions.
