Work values is an essential part of life values, and it is the reflection of life values on occupation. This study takes 1557 normal university students born after 1990 as samples, and applies the Chinese version of Super’s Work Values Inventory revised by Ning Weiwei. In this research, the basic work values of these students born after 1990 are studied. The result shows:(1) The work values’ characteristics of "post-90s" university students is that they pay more attention to the way of life, achievement, relationship with colleagues, rewards, reputation, while pay less attention to change, management, aesthetics, working environment, innovation. These characteristics show the emphasis on achieving individual self-worth.(2) "Post-90s" university students’ work values tend to be almost the same, but in specific dimensions vary with different genders, grades, specialties, family backgrounds, hometowns, and work experiences.(3) There are significant differences in some dimensions of post-90s work values among undergraduates, postgraduate students, and graduates who have been working. Undergraduates and postgraduate students have significant differences except in the dimensions of reward and security. Undergraduates and university graduate employees have significant differences in the intellectual stimulation, reputation, reward, life-style, and supervision. Postgraduate students and university graduate employees have significant differences except in security and working environment.(4) The ranking of the attention paid to different dimensions of work values tend to be the same between the post-90s and post-80s, with the only exception that the post-80s pay more attention to safety than the post-90s.
