The rapid development of China’s golf industry brought the huge demand for golf professionals and there is a big gap for professionals in golf clubs, particularly management staff. Based on analysis of the supply of golf management talent, combining managers’ status in Beijing’s golf clubs and its need for management personnel, and studying golf club management talent imbalance between supply and demand, drawing the following conclusions:1. Golf Club Management has low Golf specialization level in Beijing, so there is a greater demand for professional management personnel, containing both the quantity and quality of talent demand. But the Supply cannot meet the demand, and there is a serious imbalance between supply and demand.2. Golf management talent cultivation mode in colleges and universities is the mainstay way of golf club management talent supply in China, but it is far away from American and British undergraduate education in golf management, and the quality of its management personnel is not only far behind Britain and the United States, but it also unable to meet industry requirements for management personnel. So its management personnel can’t be directly employed in golf management.3. The golf Clubs in Beijing need all types of management personnel at all levels, but golf management personnel training is too general, including armoring professional and no level. And the supply of golf management talents is short of the participation and contribution from China Golf official organization and the available resources is limited during golf management cultivation.4. The working environment of club managers, namely, the market demand of Golf Club Management talents, is one of the factors that can influence the supply of management talent. Competitive salaries can attract more and better talents for the Club. The club management structure should to be standard and human resources management needs to be strengthened, in particular the management for club managers. One of the most important issues is the training and development of managers, because not only is of great significance to the career development for managers, but also it makes for achieving greater business benefits and development for club.
