Mental health issues of immediate concern school-age children, is an important task of psychology research. The group’s own lack of ability, lack of resources, lack of expression mechanism, belonging to vulnerable groups in society, can survive school age, school age to complete the task, for personal growth and development plays an important role, so school-age children for psychological research has important theoretical and practical significance.This article is by the method of field studies, the use of observation and interviews to collect the required information to Jinan D community park for the study of school-age children, by talking with eight children, two community workers, two school teachers, two parents of the child, i found that urban community school-age children face the following psychological problems:first, the self-respect is fragile and the inferiority is strong; second, their security is low and they are not easy to establish a relationship with them with lack of empathy; third,they have a strong sense of loneliness, immersing in their own world and don’t like communicating with each other; fourth, their social adaptation is poor, lacking of capacity to respond to environmental change; fifth, their dependence is low, lacking of self-discipline and the spirit of being grateful; sixth, they are not confident and silent; seventh, they are not happy.As a fundamental research, basic research on the psychological problems of school-age children, from the macro and meso-level analysis of the reasons for school-age children with mental problems, macro-level is because the lack of in that school mental health education for children and a single evaluation criterion, meso level is because the parents of the child is lack of companionship, neglecting the child’s character and is blind to set out study plan. To prevent school-age children with psychological problems, helping them to achieve healthy development, the paper is from the school, family and personal path proposals social intervention and use case work, group work, community work and social administration work intervention.
