Social Work In Family Therapy For Ther Disabled

As a special social vulnerable groups for the disabled,particular concern and continuous support,from the government and all walks of life, has been given to the disabled all the time. It has extremely vital significance for doing a good job of disabled persons to increase the welfare of disabled persons and the whole family.,meanwhile, it is beneficial to the country’s economic and social development. With the development of society, The form of the service for the disabled is also diversified. Family as an important place for people with disabilities,should be valued. The family as the core, as well as supported by the specialized service of family therapy model combined with professional social work service, to provide a set of practical problem solving and to promote the development of the symbiotic mode for people with disabilities and their families.This paper is based on the author’s practice experience in the S Street vocational rehabilitation service center in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. After introducing the background and significance of the research, First of all, the sample of Shenzhen city were introduced, The common problems of economic pressure, psychological pressure, partial family function and lack of social support for the disabled group were found in the sample. Then, this paper introduces the process of case intervention in the perspective of Satir’s family therapy, and the social work involved in the treatment of disabled families were summed up the experience and reflection, Finally, the future of social work related to the treatment of disabled persons in the future are prospected.
