The communist party of China has always attached great importance to the ideological and political education and regarded it as a lifeline of ideological work and other all work. It is significant for the party keeping eternal vitality and vigor peace of our country.In China, the colleges as the main platforms of ideological and political education take up the responsibility to improve college students’ ideological and moral qualities and make them become the all-round development persons. Throughout the development of ideological and political education in colleges and universities for decades, particularly from the 18 th party congress, with the party central committee,all regions and colleges and universities attaching great importance to ideological and political education, it has been made remarkable achievements in colleges and universities. Most of the college students’ ideological and moral quality has been improved in great extent, set up the firm ideal faith, and formed a correct world outlook, the outlook on life and values. Also the system of ideological and political education in colleges and universities has been constantly improved,so it provides a strong guarantee and spiritual power for the other work of colleges and universities. But with the college students’ self consciousness and democratic consciousness constantly improved, the education content, education method and the relationship between teachers and students and so on can not fully mobilize their subjective initiative in some extent.so some students produce boredom and resentment and influence the effect of education.Rogers as the main representative figures of humanism psychology, he extendedits people-centric therapy to the field of education and put forward the humanism education thoughts. He pointed out that the education goal should adapt to the change and development of society and made the students become "whole person"; He Put forward the "student-centered" teaching concept and attached importance to the subjectivity of the students, so the students’ initiative were fully mobilized; He thought that the students’ learning should be meaningful and advocated that the teacher should create "real problem" situation for students; He thought the teacher should tread the students sincerely, accept and understand the students; He advocated to establish a good relationship between teachers and students and so on. His thoughts have an important enlightenment to solve the problems that exist in the ideological and political education in colleges and universities. Therefore, this article is on the basis of digging the identity points between Rogers’ humanistic education thoughts and ideological and political education in colleges.The article is divided into four parts :The first part: introduction. It mainly introduces the background of the selected topic, research significance, the domestic and foreign general situation of the research about the Rogers humanism education thoughts, the thesis writing thoughts, research methods and the innovations and deficiencies of this paper;The second part: the related problems of Rogers’ humanism education thoughts.It firstly introduced the theoretical basis and premise of humanism education thought;Secondly,it discusses the basic content of the Rogers humanism education thoughts and finally it makes an objective evaluation of the Rogers’ humanism education thoughts.It makes us know and understand the Rogers’ humanism education thoughts on the whole;The third part: the necessity and possibility of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities learning from Rogers’ humanism education thoughts. It firstly describes the necessity of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities learning from the Rogers’ humanism education thoughts from five aspects including the subjectivity of students, relations of teachers and students, education contents, education method and education evaluation, and thenelaborates the possibility of the combination from the education concept, education objective, education content, education process and principles of education. It provides a basis for the ideological and political education in colleges and universities referring to the Rogers’ humanism education thoughts;The fourth part: The optimizing strategy of ideological and political education by learning from the Rogers’ humanism education thoughts. This part is the focus of this writing and mainly proposes the optimizing strategy of ideological and political education from five aspects included the education content, education idea, education methods, the relationship between teachers and students as well as the education evaluation.The innovation point of this paper is to dig the meeting points between the Rogers’ humanism education thoughts and ideological and political education to improve ideological and political education in colleges and universities by sucking the marrow out of Rogers’ education thoughts.
