Materials existing in the nature is the material basis for the development of human beings, and are also used by artists in the creation of art. The development history of integrated materials is extremely long, which could be traced back to the primitive society By the end of nineteenth Century, art entered a period of comprehensive development, and artists have been looking for new media and materials to create more kinds of arts, which gives more possibilities to the development of art. Art is not only an art course, but also a kind of aesthetic education. Art classes can improve the aesthetic ability and image thinking of the students, and help the students to cultivate themselves and develop innovation ability. With the development of integrated art, cutilization of waste materials can not only provide the fresh material for modern art curriculum, but also further cultivate students’ practical ability and innovation consciousness. lIn this thesis, the author takes Yulin middle school in Lan county, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province as an example to elaborate comprehensive materials used in the innovation of rural middle school art class, in order to have a more in-depth understanding of the use of comprehensive materials in art teaching in rural middle schools.This paper argues that the use of synthetic materials has an important role in the fine arts curriculum in middle school, which can stimulate the students’ creative thinking, enhance students’ practical ability, and cultivate students’ advanced social field of vision.In light of this, the author divides the thesis into five parts. In the first chapter, the author introduces the background for the implementation of relevant state "waste to treasure" and other policies, and interpretation of the materials in the domestic and foreign art courses in the use of research and lists the studies on comprehensive materials in the domestic and foreign art courses; In the second chapter,the author describes the concept of comprehensive materials,the arts and innovation ability, and interpretes the new art curriculum standard; In the third chapter,the author describes the present status of comprehensive materials used in art teaching innovation and application research of the rural middle school in Yulin.Chapter Four expounds the problems occurred in the process of comprehensive materials used in Fine Arts classroom innovation and application of Rural Middle School of Yulin,and then proposes some countermeasures; finally, Chapter Five is conclusions.
