It’s known that the education has been reforming. In order to adapt to the basic curriculum education well, implementing the new curriculum needs to change the traditional teaching mode: the rigid and mechanical mode to a new one which aims at interacting, opening and innovating. As a new teaching mode which has changed the learning methods of the students, the teaching mode guided by learning plan has returned the principal status to the students and avoided the disadvantages that teachers focus on teaching and the students pay attention to learning. On the basis of motivating the enthusiasm for learning, the teaching mode which puts the students as the main body and the teachers as the leading role effectively improves the self-learning ability, cooperation and exploration, so that the students will realize the personality development.This paper will explore how to teach the solid geometry in senior high school with the teaching mode guided by learning plan. Solid geometry is a logical discipline which fosters people’s sense of perception followed by the visual thinking; and the questions of solid geometry also weighs heavily in college entrance examination. Therefore, it’s important for the students to learn it well. The solid geometry serves as the carrier in senior high school teaching for the paper, which explores how this teaching mode influences the results of students learning it, the abilities in solving problems, certain mathematical abilities, non-intelligent factors about mathematics through designing effective teaching mode guided by learning plan which related to solid geometry and putting it into teaching practice; besides, measures like conducting comparative experiments over time combined with the research methods including literature analysis, questionnaire, interview and tests are taken to analyze the effectiveness of the teaching mode.Through the study of this paper, the classroom teaching mode will be optimized at this stage and the efficiency of classroom teaching will be improved; besides, implementing the effective teaching mode can improve the comprehensive qualities of students; last, implementing the teaching mode requires teachers understand the textbook and the students, which can help teachers improve professional standard, teaching ability and the consciousness of working collectively. What the paper researches can lay the foundation for the teaching and research in senior high school to make the senior middle school teaching more efficient.
