Relationship Between Adolescents’ Attachment, Personality And Idol Worship

This study selected 566 students from three middle schools in Heilongjiang province as the study object for the purpose of investigating the relationship between attachment, personality and idol worship, inspected the effects of attachment and personality in the internal mechanisms of adolescents’ idol worship, investigated the current situation of adolescents’ idol worship, fully and deeply analyzed the issue of adolescents’ idol worship. This study from the two-part study on this issue.First of all, the investigation of adolescents’ idol worship. Found that the time of adolescents’ idol worship is usually between 1-3 years; the idol which the current adolescents worship is usually movie stars and singers; the main reason of adolescents’ idol worship is appearance factor, and include the idol’ talent factor; the information channel which adolescent concern their idol is usually on TV and internet. Adolescents think that idol worship has no important influence on their study and life, and they have objections on extreme fans. Finally, adolescents agree the moderately idol worship.The second part, the study of the relationship between adolescents’ attachment, personality and idol worship. The results are as follows: the attachment of adolescent is good, and it shows significant differences on grade and learning. The development of adolescents’ personality is good, it shows significant differences on learning, and extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness and neuroticism shows significant differences on grade. The degree of adolescents’ idol worship is mainly mild and severe, it shows significant differences on grade, social entertainment degree and relations fantasy degree shows significant differences on gender, and fully agree degree and pathological edge degree shows significant differences on learning. Adolescents’ attachment, personality and idol worship was significantly related. Adolescents’ attachment and personality have a forecast on idol worship in different degree. Extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism have a partially mediated in the regression relationship of attachment and social entertainment degree.
