The Influence Of History Information In Three Person Trust Game

Trust is an import part in social interaction, former researches usually use two party trust game to explore the influence of history information on trust. Recently, researches have shown that the decisions people made is influenced by how they are treated by others. Then, how history information influence trust in multiple player trust game? To answer this question, this research use three person trust game design. Experiment 1 uses three person investment game design, and shows that truster’s decision is influenced by trustee’s decision and repayment. Experiment 2 uses three person trust-trust game design, and shows that truster’s decision is influenced by trustee’s decision, but not by repayment. Experiment 3 uses three person trust-investment game design, and shows that truster’s decision is influenced by trustee’s decision, but not by repayment. Experiment 4 uses three person trust-dictator game design, and shows that dictator’s decision is influence by both opponent’s decision and repayment. The results above shows that, in three person interaction, trust is influenced by trustee’s own decision and repayment.
