| The use of literature, questionnaire investigation, expert interview, on-the-spot investigation, mathematical statistics, case analysis, logic analysis and other research methods, the cities around Taihu Lake(including Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Jiaxing,Huzhou, such as holiday sports development present situation investigation and inquiry ring Taihu Lake City Holiday Sports Activities of the basic characteristics, existing problems, influence factors and development path to promote development of holiday sports characteristics, rich "ring of Taihu Lake Sports Circle" connotation construction,for other cities carry out holiday sports activities and provide the reference.In order to have a thorough grasp of holiday sports development in cities around Taihu Lake(including Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Jiaxing, Huzhou), with the help of documents, questionnaires, interviews, on-the-spot investigation, mathematical statistics,case analysis, logic analysis and other research methods, the basic characteristics,problems, influence factors and development path got well explained. This would promote the development of holiday sports, enrich the significance of "Taihu Lake Sports Circle" construction and provide holiday sports examples for other cities.Research results show that:(1) the holiday sports is utilized during national holidays. On on hand, people enroll specific sports in order to enhance both physical and mental pleasure, meet spiritual needs and enjoy their lifes. On the other hand,governments held different kinds of sports for different groups of people for the purpose of leading a healthy and scientific way of exercise. In a word, sports activities organized on the weekends and the traditional holidays are collectively referred to as "Holiday Sports" activities.(2) The development of holiday sports activities in cities around Taihu Lake have the following features: organizational by social agency and monitored bygovernments, management subject gradually expanded and socialized; specific implementation carried by the local Sports Association, Sports Bureau and federations;much attention paid to propaganda and promotion; content mainly covers four categories of projects, funding sources rely on national finance, lottery welfare fund and market. In addition, project designs, organization and management, completion of activities all got highly evaluated.(3) Holiday sports activities in cities around Taihu Lake have multiple organization and management departments. Participants are usually citizens. The activities are friendly, convenience and amusing. Activity spots are distant and have delightful views, both project activities and participants are in a large number.Activities are designed to be entertainment and leisure. Time of activities is short and concentrated, which values the integration of resources.The development path of holiday sports activities in cities around Taihu Lake contains following steps: to increase policy support and improve attention paid by the leaders; overall planning of regional development, to establish and polish relevant laws and regulations; to strengthen the leading role of the government and develop joint Holiday Sports together with other regions; to strengthen facilities of Holiday Sports Foundation and make full use of association and volunteer services; to strengthen the intensity of market operation, to broaden the sources of funding and promote funding diversification; to diverse project settings and pay attention to the diversity of people involved, to keep expanding holiday sports population; to build holiday sports project,promotion and coordination with specialized agencies and institutes; to change people’s ideas and encourage their participation in sports and health investment consciousness,to continue to promote the holiday sports consumption and regional culture, together with the integration of tourism and other industries; to strengthen technical guidance and comprehensive supervision, to develop practical projects, to ensure the safety of the process activities; to deepen the theoretical research and practical exploration, and strive to build a regional holiday sports brand, which leads to the highlight of the Taihu Lake. |
