In China, “The Mathematics Curriculum Standard of the Complusory Education in 2011” was published. In America “The common core state standards for Mathematics” of America was also published formally in 2010. Through the comparison between the two countries at the beginning of the compulsory education for middle school mathematics curriculum standards of design and characteristic, get advice and enlightenment, summed up the advantages and disadvantages of mark of class in our country, provide a reference for the improvement of the mathematics curriculum standard and revised and using for reference.The research chose the recent chinese and American junior school mathematics curriculum standard as the subject investigated, and mainly adopted literature review method, text analysis method. From the curriculum goal of junior school mathematics curriculum standard, the comparative research on the three aspects of equirements on the students’ mathematical literacy, content standard and quality was done.Firstly, the article analysed the feature of chinese and American mathematic curriculum standard and compared the difference about the requirements on the students’ mathematical literacy. By comparing, the researchers found: American Curriculum paid much attention on the cultivation of ability while chinese curriculum put much emphasis on the expression of mathematical emotion.Secondly, the comparison of the content of chinese and American curriculum standard involved in three fields of number and algebra, graph and geometry, and statistics and probability. The essay compared and analysed the essence of the content of chinese and American mathematical curriculum standard, and drew the conculsion: American CCSSM on the content of teaching objectives was much clearer than our chinese “curriculum standard of 2011 Edition”. And the expression of teaching aims was more detailed than ours. Then, in view of our specific national condition, we reflected on the reform of mathematical curriculum and put forth the enlightenment to the reform.What’s more, according to the content of mathematical curriculum standard of china and the United States, and also according to the comparison and the analysis of the breadth and depth of establishment, they drew the final conclusion. In the field of number and algebra, there are obvious differences in the distribution of knowledge points between the two countries. In the fields of graph and geometry and statistics and probability, there are few differences existed.Eventually, the essay adopted uncertain comprehensive evaluation method. According to the situation of junior middle school’s mathematics teachers at home and abroad, it can get the result: In the aspect of presentation, the comprehensive quality in chinese “curriculum standard of 2011 Edition” was worse than American CCSSM. In the aspect of course objective, the comprehensive quality in chinese “curriculum standard of 2011 Edition” was better than American CCSSM. In the aspect of course content, the comprehensive quality in chinese “curriculum standard of 2011 Edition” was worse than American CCSSM.
