| With the advancement of basic education reform, the development of international science education and the introduction of all kinds of new teaching idea, the new round of basic education reform to pay more attention to students’ scientific inquiry ability and scientific literacy. Science courses as the main teaching methods of science curriculum is very important for the cultivation of the students’ ability to explore,develop and improve students’ scientific literacy cultivation. As a result, The thesis developed a series of science curriculum instructional design from daily "boiling water" campaign on the base of important concepts of energy conservation and transformation calculation, the knowledge involved is important and difficult content in the process of cognition and learning for ninth graders. The author expected to find effective ways for students to understand the concepts of energy conservation and transformation more intuitively and mastery the knowledge they have learned much better by providing a scientific and interesting teaching case which is closer to the students’life, to achieve the purpose of use.Prior to teaching design, an experimental study on the "boiling water" material was done. Including the definition of firewood’s dryness extent, and records of the actual consumed firewood weight, and real time for boiling water by electric kettle. Differences Scale between the firewood weight and theoretical value and between the heat produced by electric kettle and the heat absorbed by water are obtained from the experimental study. And then Analyze and explain the physical change process of energy conservation and transformation. Extract some core issues for creative research from the materials such as "How much firewood does it need to boil o pot of water theoretically?" "Why the weight of actual consumed firewood is always bigger than Theoretical value?" "Which prediction is more accurate for these two ways of boiling water? Why?" "Which house we can use to improve utilization of wood?" "What is the distinguishing feature of the design of the electric kettle can increase the utilization of the heat?"On the base of the experimental research and thoughts on core issues, the author tries to make the preliminary teaching design of scientific inquiry activity for the ninth graders by combining with their daily life experiences and the author’s teaching practice, in the background knowledge of energy transformation and conservation. The teaching design of inquiry activity is mainly about these issues such as "how long does an electric kettle take to boil a pot of water?" "How much firewood does it take to boil a pot of water by burning?" "How to reduce energy and how to use the dissipated energy?" Finally, the author conducted a preliminary analysis and comparison between the teaching design in this thesis and traditional teaching design, and then continued to improve the teaching design of this science inquiry activity.This thesis is based on science education, and combined the advantages of traditional teaching mode and teaching content fully, supported by the new teaching mode and teaching idea, to help students understand important concepts of science as the premise, to improve students’ abilities of applying knowledge to solve practical problems, to provide a science inquiry activity case from life with the whole process from material development to teaching design. At the same time, in order to provide some reference for other researchers when they are facing similar case development and design, this thesis discussed the exploration elements that should be grasped in the process of material development and teaching design. |
