| In the paper, from the perspective of family resilience, author used in-depth interviews and field observation research method to analysis the experience of one-child-died families who are living in YS District H City H Province. Drawing on Ihe logical starting of corresponding structure of the risk factors and protective factors, this paper sums up how family resilience takes effect in the plight. This study is divided into five aspects. The first part is the introduction which elaborates research questions and significance of the study. The second part is the design of the study. This part mainly discusses the theoretical basis, research orientation, theoretical models with mechanisms of actions, and the essence of family resilience. Then according to the content of the literature review, the framework of this study is built. Under a developmental and ecological perspective, the third part focuses on the flight which the one-child-died families have been met, and show the influence on those families. In the fourth aspects, the main contents include two parts. On one hand, what are the key protective factors help the one-child-families to cope with the difficulties; on the other hand, when the strengthening family resilience is working on, the specific process is been studied. At the last part of the paper, on the basis of the conclusions, several suggestions are provided in order to help more one-child-died families to go out of plights. As is shown in research, the plight of the one-child-died families covers multiple dimensions, as the time going on. In the initial stage-the stage of fatal accidents, individual physical and psychological burden on parents were the main plight of those families. After that, the parents’attention was transferred to the future life. During this time, the survival and development of family was the difficulty which the one-child-died families had to deal with. Because of withdrawing proactively in communications and being excluded by environment, the one-child-died families are on the state of isolation.Facing with multiple challenges and pressures, the running of resilience is the key element which decides the one-child-families can go out of difficulties or not. Family resilience includes three parts:belief systems, organizational patterns, and communication processes. In belief systems, creating meaning for the plight, keeping positive and firm attitude to future is the main point. In the same time, flexible patterns of family organization, family cohesion, and relationship with social environment protect families from being attacked. As a communication process, sharing protective emotions and dealing with negative motions between the father and the mother can facilitate family functions and is the beginning of adaption. Belief systems, organizational patters, and communication processes interact with each other. This is the core process of strengthening family resilience of the one-child-died families. |
