Research On The Status Of City Life Integration Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers Under The Horizon Of Social Work

The new generation of migrant workers is people who borne in the late 80s and early ’90s,they are a new generation of migrant workers. They have a signific-ant difference with the first generation of migrant workers in the cultural degree, farming experience,out motivation.They are more hope into the city,and meet man-y problems in the process of integrated,which aroused the concern of the govern-ment and society.Professional social work also add to it for its purpose of to hel--p others.What is the status of new generation migrant workers into the city life? What are the problems?what roles can social work play?How?These are the proble-ms what the research need to solve.This study adopts the method of literature study, questionnaire investigation, case interview,200 young migrant workers in wuhan city who bora in 1980 and after more than 16 years of age are interviewed.We try to understand their situation and existing problems of city life from the life style which include behavior, social interaction, social participation,social support. Survey found that new generation of migrant workersare more customed to living habits and routines, but treat people the way of city,local customs and habits of fitness, entertainment,is not high;they lack of communication withurban natives;they lack of willingness and ability to participate in urban social life;thier social support network is mainly based on blood, geopolitical and edge acquaintance network,they lack of social support system.In the path of the social work intervention, first of all, the article analyzes t-he Cenozoic migrant workers demand for social work intervention from four aspe-cts included the life style and behavior,social interaction, social participation,social support; Second,The transition of the function of the government and enterprises,the features of professional social work itself provide the necessity and rationality fort he social work intervent the new generation of migrant workers;Once again,When it comes to problems and the demand of the new generation of migrant workers i-nto the city Iife,social work is not everything,it need to choose which is suitable for the contents of this professional intervention;In the end,according to th-e diffe-rent problems and requirements adopt different intervention methods.On the basis of literature research and field survey, the study found that:First of all,Based on the summary of the existing social work intervention service,thispa per argues that a single enterprise service model or community service model can no longer be effectively solve the various problems brought by industrializationand urbanization,we need to combine the two,parallel propulsion; Second,Traditional stati-c service mode can not fundamentally solve the problem,we must be carried out on dynamic service mode,and help the new generation of migrant workers by the recipients to grow to help others;In the end,to help migrant workers better and fas-ter into the urban social life,we need to construct the government leading,enterpri-se,community and social organizations multi-agent broad participation way of serv-ice supply.
