With the further deepening of the new curriculum reform, geography textbooks as an important part of the new curriculum reform, and its reform has also been paid attention to. As one of the most important theoretical basis of the new curriculum reform, the theory of constructivism should be reflected in the high school geography textbooks. So, how to embody the idea of constructivism in senior high school geography textbooks? How should teachers and students learn more about the essence of constructivism in textbooks to better serve the teaching and learning? Therefore, it is very necessary to analyze the geography textbook of middle school based on the theory of constructivism. Many teachers and students are currently no effective understand the intention textbook writers.By research on this topic, there is help to the teachers and students to better grasp of textbooks of the spiritual connotation, more effective for teaching and learning.The main content of this paper has six parts, namely:The first part is the introduction. This part analyzes the research background, significance, domestic and foreign research status,which based on the theory of constructivism. In addition, it introduces the research content, research methods and technical routes.The second part, theoretical preparation. It defines the concept of textbook and teaching material, and it also expounds the theoretical basis of constructivism and the influence of constructivism to the textbook.The third part is the empirical part. Firstly, the perspectives of textbook analysis based on the theory of constructivism are established. These perspectives including: Whether it set up a rich teaching situation; whether it will help students to construct the meaning of geographical knowledge; whether it pay attention to cooperation and dialogue; whether it pay attention to the students of the existing experience.Then, taking the geography compulsory 1 as an example, the textbook is analyzed from the three aspects,which conclude the content selection, content organization and content of the textbook.The fourth part, strategy research. This paper mainly expounds the optimization strategy of the textbook in two aspects,which conclude use and writing.The fifth part, conclusion, problems and prospects.
