With the continuous deepening of our country's new curriculum reform and the vigorous development of science education,the requirements for talent specifications are getting higher and higher.In 2019,according to the "General High School Geography Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)" and the development requirements of students' differences,four editions of new geography textbooks were published.Geography textbooks have become an important bridge linking human social sciences and nature,while geography experiments have become an important link between the content of textbooks and students' life practice,and are one of the important parts of geography textbooks.It has great educational significance and is also an important way to implement geographic practice.It has become the top priority of the current geographic education reform,so it is very necessary to carry out research on geographic experiments.This research is based on the core competencies of geography for the development of students' abilities.On the basis of constructivist learning theory,"learning by doing theory",core competency theory and learning interest theory,it adopts literature research method and text analysis method to conduct geographic experiments.It defines the concept of geography experiment teaching,expounds the difference between geography experiment and geography experiment teaching connotation,and also sorts out the research status of geography experiment at home and abroad,and puts forward the research goal and significance of this paper.On the basis of the current research situation at home and abroad,according to the core literacy of geography for students' ability,drawing on some scientific experimental research results,and at the same time modifying the model according to the system theory,the comparison model of the four editions of geography textbooks has been established.The superficial dimensions such as description introduction,the number of experimental charts,the method of experimental presentation,the convenience of experimental equipment,the specificity of experimental operation,and the completeness of experimental texts are compared with the deep dimensions such as experimental content exploration,experimental innovation,experimental reasoning,and experimental reality.Research,summarize the experimental characteristics of the four editions of geography textbooks,and put forward suggestions for the optimization of geography experiments according to the requirements of the core literacy of geography for the cultivation of students' abilities.and carry out experimental evaluation.It is hoped that this research can provide reference for middle school geography teachers to carry out geography experiment teaching and optimize geography experiment design.
