Learning by guidance cases and Task-driving teaching are two successful teaching models in the modern education reform. Through the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of these two kinds of teaching models, this paper proposes a new teaching model-the task-driving teaching model based on guidance cases in high school chemistry. With the help of the guidance cases and the teacher, students complete each task individually or through teamwork, thus enhancing their independence and positivity.The first part of the thesis introduces the research background and significance, domestic and foreign research progresses of teaching, the research content and methods.The second part of the thesis gives a general overview of the task-driving teaching model based on guidance cases in high school chemistry. Firstly, the basic concepts and characteristics of the teaching model,the guiding case teaching model, the task driven teaching model and the task-driving teaching model based on guidance cases are expounded. And then it briefly discusses the basic theories of this teaching model.In the third part of the thesis, the teaching model of executing process is expounded. Firstly, it is the preparation part, including guidance case design and writing, the design and step definition of the task.Then it is the implementation process. Finally, the teaching model is analyzed by examining specific cases.The fourth part of the paper is research on the practice of this teaching model. It respectively expounds the research design, students’ performances, teachers’ feedback and the questionnaire of the students.The fifth part of the paper is the summary of the full text and looking forward to the future.And then reaches following conclusions. (1)This teaching model enhances the students’ learning enthusiasm, initiative and autonomy. (2)This teaching model enhances the students’ interest in learning, and improves scores. (3)This teaching model strengthen students’ memory and is easy for students to review what they have learned in class. (4)This teaching model increases the chances of communication between teachers and students, promote the harmonious development of the relationship between teachers and students. And then sums up the problems existing in the implementation process.
