| In traditional China, education is closely related to "official career". The feudal dynasty selected government officials by setting the imperial examination system in in Sui and Tang Dynasties.Only pass through the national imperial examination can the well read students achieve fame and realize the value of knowledge. "Decade cold window unmanned ask, once famous the world know"is a true portrayal of the students. After the founding of New China, the recovery of the college entrance examination system promotes social mobility and improve the political elite selection path. With the development of knowledge economy,education progressively popular,the relationship between education and access to career status of officials strengthen or weaken is a problem worthy of further study.This research mainly contains five parts.he first parts forward the research problems,reviews the existing literature,and defines the core concepts,etc.The second part is the research foundation, including the research hypothesis, the design of the variables and the selection of the sample;The third part is the descriptive statistics analysis of the career status of officials. Analysing the officers’personal characteristics and educational characteristics through descriptive statistics of 302 departmental level and above cadres and comparing the difference of official’career status under different factors by t test and F test. In the fourth part ordered logistic regression analysis was used to explore what factors affect the degree official power, the power gain speed as well as the degree of power control.The last part is a summary of the conclusions of this study.Through descriptive statistics,comparative analysis and regression analysis,the main conclusions are as follows:Women’s participation in politics is low, and the power point is damaged;The officials entering channel is relatively narrow,and the identity of the party members are still dominant; The officials’educational background change greatly,and the In-service education is mainly.The diversion of higher education has a significant impact on the professional status of officials;Increase in the number of studies will help enhance the professional status of officials;The education level has a positive effect on the professional status of officials. |
