Informationization and internet are highly developing in the 21 st century. People obtain plenty of information using network, mobile phones and other communication mode. However, we need the independent and critical thinking ability in order to select valuable information from large amounts of complicated resource. Critical reading is one of the most effective way for improving the ability of critical thinking, and is a proactive thinking way to article when readers are reading, and is also a pattern of reaction and evaluation according to curriculum standard after selection, comparison,questioning and reflection by readers. Trend of critical reading teaching has burgeoned in the fifties and sixties of the 20 th in western countries. In recent years, our country’s education researchers began to study and explore this teaching mode. So far, it has become a hot spot of education research in all over the world, and is regarded as an important part of talent training.The main research contents in this paper are to combine critical reading teaching theory and novel teaching practice. In the process of research, on the basis of high school course standard and student psychological characteristics, based on Derrida’s Deconstruction reading Concept and Reception Aesthetics Theory, we focus on critical reading teaching strategy, and give an implementation strategy about novel critical reading teaching by finding its problems existing in the high school teaching stage.Finally, we try to combining theory and practice of critical reading teaching to guide teaching practice.Firstly, we summarize the concept of critical reading, and clarify its significance in Chinese language teaching in this paper. Secondly, we focus on the feasibility andnecessity of critical reading in high school teaching implementation. Thirdly, we describe the current situation of high school teaching critical reading. Finally, we discuss the strategies of high school novel critical reading teaching.
