Mathematics is equipped with a strong sense of thinking as well as an important subject in junior high school. It can not only test students’ thinking ability and cognitive level but also can promote developing students into rigorous and earnest selves. However, in the process of students’ mathematics learning, the problem called thought obstacle exists all the time. And theses problems are the key factors to affecting students’mathematics learning. Over the past few college entrance examinations, the moving point problem gradually becomes the hot issue appearing in examinations. It is that because the moving point problem in mathematics involves more knowledge points and it can usually put the algebra and geometry knowledge points together to examine students’ logical thinking ability, space imagination ability and basic operation skills.Through documentary method, this research concludes some thinking obstacles of Junior High 3 students in solving problems including comprehension thinking obstacle, selective thinking obstacle, flexibility thinking obstacle, methodological thought disorder, structural thought disorder, organized thinking obstacles and monitoring reflective thinking obstacle. This research makes a scientific questionnaire according to practical issues and purposefully aims at researching the moving point problem and gets the status quo of students’ thinking obstacle in solving the moving point problem. First, comprehension thinking obstacle and structural thought disorder are two salient obstacles in all thinking obstacles appearing in Junior Grade 3 students’solving mathematics problems. Second, the student thought obstacle is almost different in opposite sex. Boys are more easy to have constructive thought disorder and girls are easier to have comprehension thought disorder. Third, Korean Han students’thinking obstacles in solving problems differ from each other in the process of moving point. Wherein Korean students are easier to have selective thought disorder and flexibility of thought disorder than Han students. However, Han students accounts for higher rates in the monitoring reflective thought disorder.Through interviews with teachers and students, this research analyzes students’thinking obstacles in solving the problem of the moving point problem and draws main reasons. First, from the angle of teachers, students’ mathematical thinking obstacles results from teachers’ teaching attitude, teaching methods, teachers’ understanding of students’ difficulty in solving problems. Second, from the angle of students, students’ mathematical thinking obstacles owe to poor cognitive structure, poor metacognition ability, lack of knowledge and experience, simplex thinking and learning motivation.Eventually suggestions will be given from two aspects:teachers and students. First, the teachers should set up good cognitive system, develop students’ metacognition ability, motivate students’ learning motivations and cultivate their learning interests. Second, the students should divergent thinking in the process of problem solving, accumulate more knowledge and cultivate the habit of reflecting in time.
