In order to cultivate high-quality talents who can adapt to social development, National Ministry of Education issued "Curriculum Standard of Each Subject for Compulsory Education (2011)", which indicates that Chinese new curriculum reform has been implemented for five years, including Yanbian region. As the gathering place of Korean nationality, nowadays further studying on the current situation of new physics curriculum implementation at Korean nationality middle schools has played an important role in deepening middle school physics curriculum reform as well as practice in Yanbian region, and improving Korean middle school students’scientific literacy.Research of teachers’attitude, teaching mode, curriculum resources development and utilization as well as evaluation method, etc., were implemented by questionnaires, interviews and classroom observation, etc. Where the researcher did questionnaires for 33 Korean middle school physics teachers and 404 middle school students, and conducted interviews with 10 physics teachers and 10 junior school students, moreover, an auxiliary method of classroom observation for 26 physics classes was also used in the research. We can draw the following conclusions on the current situation of new physics curriculum implementation at Korean nationality middle schools in Yanbian region after processing and analyzing survey results by using spssl9.0 software:1. Fidelity-oriented new physics curriculum implementation was adopted by Korean nationality middle schools in Yanbian region. Physics teachers made teaching design and implement teaching according to middle school physics curriculum standard as well as textbooks.2. As for the dimension of "teachers’attitude", the average value is 2.0758, and there are significant differences between various cities and towns. The overall condition of new physics curriculum implementation at Korean nationality middle schools in Yanbian region is so good that new curriculum idea has been accepted by education administrative authorities at various levels, schools and physics teachers. However, physics teachers from various cities and towns have different attitudes towards new curriculum implementation.3. As for the dimension of "teaching mode", the average value is 2.0152 without any significant difference in the mode. Under the background of small-sized class education, physics teachers at Korean nationality middle schools in Yanbian region actively carried out the reform and practice of inquiry teaching mode as well as cooperative learning and teaching during new physics curriculum implementation. There is a common phenomenon that the teaching mode advocated by new curriculum has become a mere formality.4.As for the dimension of "curriculum resources development and utilization", the average value is 1.7045, which is the best result in the four dimensions, and without any significant difference. Korean nationality middle schools in Yanbian region have good physics curriculum resource construction, where all physics textbooks at Korean nationality middle schools in Yanbian region are issued by PEP and translated into Korean language, which provides a basic guarantee for physics curriculum implementation, but so far there are less Korean references to physics. In addition, Yanbian schools have sufficient physics experimental apparatus which can meet the national requirements. This provides a guarantee for physics experiment, however, some physics teachers’ experiment skill is not so good, what’s worse, some of them even cannot effectively use the experimental apparatus.5. As for the dimension of "evaluation method", the average value is 2.1970, which is the worst result in the four dimensions, and there are significant differences between various cities and towns, which shows that physics curriculum evaluation method at Korean nationality middle schools in Yanbian region need to be further improved. Although small-sized class education, inquiry teaching mode as well as cooperative learning and teaching method have provided an effective basis for middle school physics teachers to use diversified evaluation methods, these evaluation methods cannot be effectively embodied in the necessary process of physics curriculum implementation, moreover, they will also be affected by senior high school entrance examination. Diversified evaluation methods have become a mere formality, and can’t be embodied in middle school upgrade evaluation.Based on the problem of the new curriculum implementation in Yanbian region, put forward the following suggestions:1. Strengthen the effectiveness of physics teachers training and make actual research of teachers’ professional literacy, then determine training content as well as training mode for teachers according to research results to improve physics teachers’teaching ability.2. Further speed up the education information technology project, and expand physics textbooks in Korean language; encourage physics teachers to develop curriculum resources to improve their ability of curriculum resources development.3. Improve the system of senior high school entrance physical examination, and pay attention to the weight of physical examinations taking on normal days; improve the effective supervision system of evaluation to ensure diversified evaluation methods.4. Enhance the propaganda of new physics curriculum reform, and improve parents’enthusiasm in participating in new curriculum reform to give full play to the function of school community.
