| Badminton has always been the dominant event in the traditional athletic sport in our country,its charm has also conquered the public. Nowadays, national fitness is becoming more and more popular and the badminton as well. In colleges and universities, badminton is one of the most popular Sports activities. In order to realize the plan that links the higher school sports education and the lifelong physical exercise and to cooperate the implementation of the national fitness program, most of the colleges and universities start to offer sports option course one after another. Therefore,the badminton option course is also adopted into the university classroom, the further study of the badminton option course in universities in Wuxi, Suzhou, and Changzhou provides theory absorption for the better development and reform of the badminton option course in universities in Jiangsu.In this paper, the method of documentary, the method of Questionnaire survey, the method of Mathematical statistics and the method of logical analysis etc. are all adopted, it’s aimed at surveying the teaching status and countermeasures of seven ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities from Wuxi, Suzhou, and Changzhou. it operates a deep analysis of the teaching content, the teaching method, the teaching environment, the students’ cognitive, the teaching situation and the examination reality, Corresponding Suggestions are put forward. The results showed that:In the ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities from Wuxi, Suzhou,and Changzhou,the syllabus of the badminton option course is applicable and all of them have their own School-based teaching materials,most of the curriculum of those schools are two semesters, there are 72 classes or 64 classes. The performance of the syllabus of the teachers is also good.2 、 In the ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities from Wuxi,Suzhou, and Changzhou, the top three teaching contents used by the teachers are“Serving and receiving technology”, “High ball technology”, “Basic pace training”and then are” teaching games” and “Badminton game rules and the referee method”.Most of the badminton teachers can understand and grasp the key point and the rules correctly. At the same time,the teachers attach great importance to badminton technology in the practical application. The teaching contents can basically meet the students’ learning needs.3 、 In the ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities from Wuxi,Suzhou, and Changzhou, the main teaching methods are explaining, demonstration and mistake correcting methods. A part of the teacher can take the “Inquiry teaching method” and the” Classroom discussion method”.4 、 In the ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities from Wuxi,Suzhou, and Changzhou, the assessment content for a student’s sports performance of the badminton option course is relatively reasonable, all of them can focus on the technical inspection and quality assessment of the badminton course.5 、 In the ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities from Wuxi,Suzhou, and Changzhou, the number of the students taking the badminton option course is too much, the equipment and the site supply are insufficiency and the teachers think the atmosphere of the classes are general.6 、 In the ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities from Wuxi,Suzhou, and Changzhou, the teachers between 31 and 40 years old and over 50 years old take a high rate. The younger teachers under 30 years old are few.7 、 In the ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities from Wuxi,Suzhou, and Changzhou, the motivations of the students to choose badminton option course are various, the top three motivations are hobbies, riching the amateur life and keeping fit. Most of the students have a little knowledge of the badminton but their sports levels are generally bad.8 、 In the ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities from Wuxi,Suzhou, and Changzhou, the three factors of the greatest influence put forward by the teachers are as follows: the emphasis school leaders put on the badminton, the limit of the site, equipment and the facilities and the likeness of the students. By the side,the students think that the limit of the site, equipment and the facilities, the likeness ofthemselves and the badminton movement technical requirements.Suggestions:1、The ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities from Wuxi, Suzhou,and Changzhou need to increase their investment and put more importance on the badminton.2、The ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities from Wuxi, Suzhou,and Changzhou need to put emphasis on the introduction of the badminton teachers with high levels or professionally trained teachers and focus on the training of the badminton teachers to increase the Sport technique level and the comprehensive teaching ability of the teachers.3、The ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities from Wuxi, Suzhou,and Changzhou need to plan the open and use of the badminton stadium, increasing the usage. Apart from this, they have to establish more badminton option courses and to spare more time for the students to take after-school badminton trainings to meet the students increasing needs of learning the badminton and keeping fit.4、The ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities from Wuxi, Suzhou,and Changzhou need to strengthen the reform of the teaching methods, trying to teach according to levels. They can establish junior classes, intermediate classes and advanced classed on the basis of students’ basic levels and choose different teaching plans in order to meet the needs of student from different levels and finally increase the teaching effect and teaching quality.5、The ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities from Wuxi, Suzhou,and Changzhou need to develop badminton single association and set the badminton intercollegiate exchange system of competition to improve the intercollegiate matches.Finally they can build a good sport environment, active campus culture... |
