Needle acupuncture, a kind of convenient way that produces positive influence on exercise had been confirmed by many researches. Exercise, either short time high intensive exercise or endurance training, would cause the body produces complex,systemic metabolite changes. Sports training and competition, a series of continuous enzymatic reaction in the body, the reaction of many metabolic pathway, they influence each other, mutual connection and restriction and highly coordinated, in order to maintain the continuity of the body’s energy supply, make the training and competition be able to run smoothly. Metabonomics, as a new method to study the body’s pathway involved by exercise through detects small molecular metabolites,which make evaluation of sports on body more scientific. In this study, seven middle-long-distance race athletes were involved and nuclear magnetic response-(NMR) based approach were applied to investigate the metabolic trait of one-time 800 meter race and after different intervention( three regular samples and four samples with electro acupuncture at zusanli, guanyuan, weizhong and chengshan point).Method:In this paper, nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)-based metabonomics,method of documentary, mathematical statistic method, pattern recognition were employed to reveal the metabolic trait after once 800 meter race and the mechanism of needling acupuncture at zusanli, guanyuan, weizhong and shenshu point.Result:(1).After just one-time 800 meter race, the metabolic trait of pre- and post-exercise urine samples were distributed and has significant difference, the changed metabolites involves lactate, citrate, branched-chain amino acid, creatinine,N-oxide-trimethylamine, hypoxanthine, alanine, acetamide and tyrosine, etc.(2).After different intervention, based our result, the OPLS-DA loading score plot shows: the metabolic profile of both samples with regular rest and samples with electro acupuncture were moved toward to the sample of pre-exercise, and there was no obvious difference between both samples. Compared with samples of post-exercise,the obvious changed metabolites involves amino acid, TCA circle, glycolysis and hypoxanthine,etc.(3).Towards samples of with different intervention, as we remove the signal interference of lactate, urea, creatinine and amino acid, we found that the samples with electro acupuncture had two kinds of metabolites: hypoxanthine up-regulated while the level of trimethylamine were down-regulated.Conclusion:(1).NMR based metabolomics approach had been applied in the research,it shows that many metabolism pathways were involved in just once 800 meter race,creatine metabolism, amino acid metabolism, glycolysis metabolism, aerobic metabolism, methane metabolism and purine metabolism, etc. in energy supplying aspect, just one time 800 meter race were dominant by anaerobic, aerobic assistant event.(2).the metabolomics changes in body by a short time and huge intensity exercise, it takes about 90 minutes to recover to the level of pre-exercise.(3).electro acupuncture at zusanli, guanyuan, weizhong and shenshu point may through accelerate the translation of hypoxanthine to IMP and increase the activity of intestinal flora to improve the function of body after exercise.
